I am so pumped up for this show! Yes! Finally.
I saw the pilot and I was totally hooked.
Jack looks amazing as Derek Wills. the sexiest he´s ever looked. Derek seems like a very dark womanizer director but I bet underneath all that there is some heart. I hope the character evolves as the series progresses.
By the way I LOVE the chemistry between him and Kat Mcphee. Sizzling chemistry. I really hope that somewhere down the road Karen and Derek get together! She will keep rejecting him but I think he will fall for her and then…
I am so excited! Praying that Smash is indeed a smash. I want it to be a big hit!
Sign me up for Team Derek!;) So glad to see Jack in this and really enjoyed him in the preview. I was also glad to see Debra Messing in ‘Smash’ as well. They were both in ‘The Wedding Date’. Jack is an amazing and underrated actor. He’s a real gem (IMHO). I don’t want to throw Derek off a cliff, at least not as much as I wanted to with Bruce Miller (“Swingtown”). Sorry to hear some of the Glee crowd is bashing this. Guess that means more JackDav for the rest of us.:3

After watching the preview episode for ‘SMASH’ I found myself once again DISGUSTED by American TV. (and I am an American). Derek Wills, while undeniably attractive, was a sleazy character that I wanted to smack over the head. Jack, again, finds himself in a provocative role. I have been his fan for some 7 years now and must say that I have been very upset with his choice of films after Pirates… And even before. I can only pray that he gains common sense… And a new agent!
