That’s where “Swingtown” will be moving to – so if you want to see Jack Davenport et al, tune in on “Bravo”, which will air all 13 episodes from 5 October on. This does not mean a second season of “Swingtown” will be produced – yet. But it’s a good start, and maybe the show finally get some proper promotion and exposure.

Special thanks have to go to Dnique for digging this out. And a big “thank you” in general to all of you guys out there who send in scans of interviews, pictures, screencaps and news and keep this website running. We could never do this on our own. 🙂

And now for something completely different.

Ziko has been doing very well in his training! He’s now working in the real mine field, and passed the 3 hole (positive verses negative samples) stage with flying colours! Ziko found each of the positive targets and did
not have any false positives! His trainer Shaibu was very proud. And so are we! 🙂

Ziko says hello, by the way:

While there’s still no official word on the fate and possible future of “Swingtown”, things don’t look good for a renewal on CBS. According to a recent article by Michael Schneider in the online-issue of VARIETY, CBS “wants to have more laughs”.

Quo vadis, Swingtown?

Officially, nobody knows. Fans who want to share their frustration about the current situation or simply show support for a show they like can do so on the following two, fan-run websites (same name, two different sites):

If you liked the show, you might want to drop a line to CBS and its advertisers and let them know. Let them know by letter, not email. A personal letter, not some pre-print you’ve found online, and not one reading like it comes straight from a chat room crowded by twelve year old fan poodles. U no wut a meen, r8?!!!!!11!!omgftwbbq!

Sadly, TV stations don’t care about online petitions, and while I’d personally find the idea of a “send pet rocks to CBS” campaign hilarious, it would be pointless. Send pet rocks to MTV; this might distract them from airing their program.

No news yet regarding the rumoured deal with ITV2 in the UK. We’ll keep you posted.

In the meantime, we have added five new pictures to the

So keep your fingers crossed and don’t miss “Swingtown” tonight on CBS, 10pm ET/PT!

We also know that there will be a DVD of “Swingtown: The First Season” with nifty extras, scheduled for December 2008. You can
