Finally, Jack’s newest film, Mother’s Milk, is available for online viewing! (In a very limited capacity at this point, but still.) Those of you on Facebook can stream it for a rental price of $6.69 from the Mother’s Milk Facebook page. Just click on the “Watch Now” button below the site’s main photo (see screenshot below), and you can watch the latest and greatest cinematic Jack!
Also, you can pre-order the Mother’s Milk DVD at http://www.amazon.co.uk/Mothers-Milk-DVD/dp/B00A8MBR0M/ref=sr_1_1?s=dvd&ie=UTF8&qid=1355949885&sr=1-1
Although amazon.co.uk lists the DVD as Region 2, we are assured by the Mother’s Milk PR folks that the DVD is REGION 0 PAL, which means it can be played on any PAL system. This includes some countries outside Region 2. Check this site to see if your country uses the PAL system: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:PAL-NTSC-SECAM.svg. You’re not in these countries? Check to see if your computer will play PAL DVDs. (But don’t ask me how to do that!)
The going rate for the Mother’s Milk DVD is £9.00, and the release date is April 2. And amazon.co.uk promises that if their listed price decreases between the time you place your order and the release date, you’ll be charged the lowest price. What a deal!
Also according to the film’s PR folks, they don’t have the rights to release the movie in cinemas outside the UK and Ireland. The film is still making the rounds in these countries – it premiered in London in November and has since opened in Cork, Dublin, Brighton and Sheffield. There are rumors that it might open in Dorset in February. So if you’re out and about in these areas, you might be able to catch the movie on the big screen.
